This site is the official website of the Idaho Podiatric Medical Association (IDPMA). The Idaho Podiatric Medical Association is the official organization representing the Podiatrists in Idaho. This site has also been developed to assist people in understanding more about our profession and to help them locate a Podiatrist in their area.

Why Podiatry?

The foot, ankle, and leg are extremely complex both in form and function. Podiatry is the only profession dedicated to addressing problems of the lower extremity.

Podiatry started with a humble and simple past, but has progressed to its current state of highly skilled surgeons. Treatment often involves using the most advanced technology to treat from simple problems such as ingrown toenails to some of the most difficult and complex foot and ankle reconstructions.
